Do you have customers abroad?
Wish them a Merry Christmas in their language
The term “Christmas” is a shorter form of Christ’s Mass and is of fairly recent origin. The Spanish term “Navidad” comes from the Latin nativĭtas, meaning birth, and in some Germanic languages, such as German, the feast is called Weihnachten, meaning holy night(s).
Every country has its own traditions and celebrates Christmas in a different way, so it is important that, if we want to connect with our customers, we wish them a Merry Christmas in their language. In this article you can read about the importance of emotions at the moment of purchase and how the language we use plays an important role.
